According to Variety, Milla Jovovich is set to star in Faces in the Crowd. Jovovich probably should have been noted in Ben Thompson’s Badass Moments in Sci-Fi History, but here she’s set to play the lead in what the report is calling a psychological thriller.
The film deals with prosopagnosia, a neurological disorder and has a synopsis that reads:
Story centers on a woman who barely survives an attack by a serial killer and wakes up in hospital with a head injury that leaves her “face-blind.” No longer able to recognize faces, she must navigate a world in which facial features change each time she loses sight of them. All the while the killer is closing in, determined to eliminate the potential witness.
Producing is the director of Stomp the Yard, which doesn’t exactly go down in the got something going for it category, but White is directing The Losers which could make him a kingspin–we like Zoe Saldana.
Jovovich has been BSC approved since The Fifth Element, and we love to see her in anything. She all stays busy, with The Fourth Kind about to be released, and working on Resident Evil: Afterlife.
