BBC has revealed the new logo that will accompany the new Matt Smith Doctor Who. According to the Telegraph, it’s the franchise’s eleventh logo in its 46-year history, and the first new one since 2006.
Smith’s debut as the Doctor will air next Spring. You can watch a video of the previous logos below:
Before we get that, the Waters of Mars special will air (see sneak peaks here and here). In May we reported that Karen Gillan would be the next’s Doctor’s companion.
