Yesterday I posted the teaser for Supernatural: Fallen Idol, the seventh episode of the new season that’s set to guest star Paris Hilton. Now, two images of her in the episode have popped up (one from the Chicago Tribune).
There’s also some commentary from the producer asking for fans not to to jump to conclusions about that cast. That’s all rubbish to me–the overwhelming majority of people who have an opinion at all want to see Hilton or else she wouldn’t be thought to guest star or appear in anything. EW has reported show creator Eric Kripke saying this of Hilton:
“I give her a lot of credit for being a hell of a good sport,” he continues. “The fact that she was game to play the part speaks volumes about her sense of humor.”
and called the show:
“It’s a fun, irreverent episode about modern celebrity. [Fans] should withhold judgment until they see it.”
Fallen Idol airs on on Ocotber 8th. Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles and started its 5th season last month on the CW.
One episode I won’t be watching. the first in five years. Frankly I don’t care what the producer is saying to sell that ……!!!!!!
I have always relied on SPN’s cast, crew and creative team to deliver a consistently good, usually great and often brilliant product. The fact that Paris Hilton will be in this episode changes nothing. I trust the SPN and will be tuning in as usual. They needed a modern day icon-type and she was willing. It could have been any one from the Twilight cast for that matter. To not watch the episode because of Paris Hilton’s cameo is just spiteful. I have a feeling this episode is going to be hilarious.
I think this episode will be a hoot. To see Sammy and Dean square off against PH just tickles me. I just love Supernatural and I trust the PTB. Okay, maybe they took a left turn with Ruby but I kinda forgive them. Maybe. . . . . .
I, for one, cannot STAND Paris Hilton, and neither can a lot of people I’ve talked to, so I’m a little confused on the “overwhelming majority of people” that want to see her, but I trust Kripke, so I know he’ll give us a good episode.
Personally i think it’s idiotic not to watch the episode only because PH is gonna b init!! I have a feeling this ep is gna b hilarious, Dean is totallt gna have a field day!!! so suck it up people and stop doubting Kripke and the SPN creative team!!!
Nah, I don’t want to see Ms Hilton on SPN, I won’t be watching this ep, I was suprised and disapponted when the casting was announced
