This is a few days old, but I just it over at Kemp’s blog. It concerns Crosscurrent, Kemp’s forthcoming novel (January 2010) set in the Star Wars Eu (when the project was announced last year we chatted with the author about Star Wars on the BSC Beat). As with all Star Wars projects, they tend to keep a tight lid on information, but the mighty Sue Rostoni has sanctioned the release of Crosscurrent’s dramatis personae.
Jaden Korr — Jedi Knight (human male)
Kell Douro — assassin/spy (Anzat male)
Khedryn Faal — captain, Junker (Human male)
Marr Idi-Shael — first mate, Junker (Cerean male)
Relin Druur — Jedi master (human male)
Saes Rrogon — Sith Lord; captain, Harbinger (Kaleesh male)
Drev Hassin — Jedi Padawan (Askajian male)
Let me point out the obvious in that obviously Sue has not given him the go to announce Darth Tomio yet. Supervising the BSC Deathstar doesn’t give me much time, but I read on and found an earlier post that contains the awesome news that Kemp will also be writing a sequel to Crosscurrent! No other details at this point, but we still have the first one to enjoy next year first.
No shame in my game, I read me some all of Star Wars novels (I actually just finished the forthcoming Bane novel), and I just wanted to shout out Paul!
