First go watch the trailer which officially came out yesterday. Last week we posted three character posters for Pixar’s Toy Story 3, a group that we can now add two more to in the form of Rex (which debuted on Myspace) and Mr. Potato Head (debuted on MSN). Lee Unkrich, the director of the film, also announced some casting news involving Kristen Schaal and Blake Clark.
Kristen Schaal (Flight of the Conchords, The Daily Show) was announced to be playing an as of yet unknown character. Blake Clark will be assuming the roll of the late Jim Varney.
Check out previous casting announcements, including that of Timothy Dalton and Michael Keaton. Pixar was also busy laying Easter Eggs in the form of a new character/villain for Toy Story 3 appearing in an Up teaser (updated later).
Toy Story 3 stars Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Wallace Shawn, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, John Ratzenberger and Jodi Benson. There has also been new casting announcements, including that of Timothy Dalton and Michael Keaton.
The film is set to hit theaters on June 18, 2010.
