Not to be confused with the Disney/Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland film, this is the TV spot for SyFy’s reimagining of the Lewis Carroll story of an adult Alice (played by Caterina Scorsone) and introduced the players of the series. I’m thinking Oz/Tinman type of adaptation, and indeed they share the same director in Nick Willing. It should be noted that he was also behind the 1999 Alice in Wonderland TV movie which included Ben Kingsley, Martin Short, Whoopi Goldberg, Peter Ustinov, Gene Wilder with Tina Majorino in the titular role .
Alice debuts on December 6th. Along with Scorsone, it features Kathy Bates, Andrew Lee Potts, Harry Dean Stanton, and Tim Curry
