This movie seems as if it were set in a fictional Ireland of the 1930's rather than modern Ireland, a country that is among the world's richest and most advanced industrial societies. Oh well, I hope she makes a pile of money on it and goes back to picking more interesting parts in more interesting movies. (And what I wouldn't give to be wrong, and have this be good.
