A bit of a quiet week here at BSC. Our standard television coverage was in place, but book reviews were slow and guests did not darken our doorstep. Then again, we did go out to the movies and devoted endless hours conquering not one but two video games this week, so perhaps things weren’t so quiet, after all. If you were too busy going out to movies, finishing quests of your own, or watching your football team cruise to the title game to check in every day, have no fear! I’ve got your cheat sheet, my weekly run-down of our original content so that you can be sure you didn’t miss something awesome.

Katelin called it “just a regular week on Wisteria Lane” as the Desperate Housewives contend with clergical bribery, surprise pregnancy, and naked peepers in “The Coffee Cup”
Gerald So thought The Big Bang Theory handled its main plot much better than its B side this week with “The Adhesive Duck Deficiency”
“Point of Impact” was, for Scott Parker, an unfortuante step down for CSI: Miami in the wake of last week’s big CSI Crossover event
Castle turned in another solid episode with “Love Me Dead,” even if Castle was handed the dull card this week
Gerald So thought both NCIS “Power Down” and NCIS: Los Angeles “Ambush” were above-average episodes this week
“Ballads” was, for Matt Cibula, Glee‘s most disappointing episode this season–but he’s not jumping off the wagon just yet
Bones had a surprisingly touching episode for Gerald So this week, in part due to Ralph Waite’s guest appearance on “The Foot in the Foreclosure”
The Vampire Diaries had another intense episode that delivered everything its title promised in terms of plot developments with “The Turning Point”
