I think that new medical examiner on csi miami, (2009) is awful-very phony and he acts mentally deranged. Get someone decent to play this role.

It was okay, just okay. Nothing spectacular and I won't make it a point to go back and watch the episode again. One thing sorely missing from the episode - ERIC! They need to bring him back, and soon. While there is some comedic chemistry between Jesse, Walter, and Ryan, there is a serious hole in the show now, one that can only be made up by bringing back Adam Rodriguez. And I could have done without Horatio slipping in and rescuing the victim in the end. What... is no one else at the lab capable of saving the victim? Clearly not. Seriously - anything that man says or does only makes me roll my eyes. As for the new ME, I could take him or leave him... at least he's better than the one they had before, she was just plain awful, not the least bit believable as a medical examiner. Better yet, in addition to bringing back Adam Rodriguez, they can bring back Khandi Alexander and make this show complete!

It is often very easy to pinpoint the culprit in any "Miami" episode; just apply my formula which has served me well for about 5 years now. I am not operating at 100% here, but it works about three-fourths of the time: introduction of new character 20 minutes or so into the episode equals GUILTY! When the bride's dad came on the scene at 10:23 I relaxed, knowing I had already solved the mystery and all that was left was to enjoy watching the team nail down the evidence.

I really liked the spectacular ending. We saw and heard waves hitting rocks, Horatio's hair was blowing all over the place as the wind took it's toll on the scene. And how often do we get to see a frogman jump into the water? Way to go!

I have a question regarding writers and copyrights: When someone like Steven Maeda or Corey Miller leaves, do they take their characters with them? That's the only justification I can come up with for neglecting people whom they took such pains to introduce. The ones mentioned above plus Ray, Jr. are out there in limbo-land and I am one of many who would like to see either some closure or their return.

Thank you for your "spot-on" review.

As you've seen, I'm much too lazy. So easy to link to your far superior review. I agree with Jewelz on many points; touched on them in my article.
Good work here, Scott!

I guess I'm going to have to be negative here. I still don't like Walter and I don't like the new ME (I'm a big Alex fan). I wish they would use Horatio, Frank and Natalia more and where on earth is Valera, Kyle....I'll even take Julia back. Concerning last nights episode, I fell asleep because I thought it was boring. I'm glad I taped it....maybe if I run through it quickly, I will stay awake....
