Another week on Wisteria Lane and more drama added to the mix. This week wasn’t nearly as full of drama as past episodes this season, but there was definitely a regular dose of crazy. Which seems to be the norm in Fairview these days.

And what happened with the ladies this week? Let’s see, shall we?
Gaby: I feel pretty bad for Gaby and the fact that her mothering abilities keep getting questioned by everyone. It definitely didn’t help when Juanita said a cuss word in the middle of her school play. And the fact that the teacher/parent conference escalated to Gaby pulling Juanita out of school and ultimately being forced to home school definitely tested Gaby’s parenting. But, um, in the middle of all of this I kept thinking “where is the other daughter?” I know she’s younger and probably in pre-school, but they haven’t shown her a lot this season. I just hope Gaby does something soon that actually is in her kids’ interests and not just making herself look better.
Lynette: Not a whole lot with Lynette this episode, besides the fact that Tom is failing school and she lied to Gaby (and all of her friends) about being pregnant. It still bothers me that Tom is majoring in Mandarin instead of, oh, I don’t know, taking a class in Mandarin and learning it that way? Oh well, hopefully he’ll get his act together and Lynette can focus on her own issues.
Bree: Oh, Bree, you were so close to ending it with Karl and then you were sucked in again by his charm. I can’t believe she wore the broach that Karl gave her to Susan’s house, not even considering that Susan may have seen it before (yeah I totally called that one): tisk-tisk, Miss Bree. However, it is sort of crazy to think that she really is considering Karl’s marriage proposal if he changes his ways, and, oh, I don’t know, she actually gets a divorce and knows that she’ll lose some friends along the way. On top of it all, at the end of the episode Orson catches Bree in her lies about the broach when he tries to be all nice like and get her another one; I can’t wait to see how that one plays out.
Katherine: Look up crazy in the dictionary, and I’m pretty sure her face would be at least the second entry, if not the first. Seriously the whole seduce Mike with rose petals, strawberries, wine and candles setup was just insanity. I totally would have reacted like Susan, too, and called her out on the crazy. And I’m pretty sure she’s about to bring Angie into her mess even more after catching on to some of her lies. Oh, Katherine, I guess the crazy is here to stay, and I gotta say you are playing it quite well.
Susan: Besides the fact that she was getting blackmailed into being friends with Katherine and then threw that out the window after her fight in the bathroom with her, Susan’s storyline wasn’t too insane. However, I do think Katherine’s really going to sue her, and that’ll be a whole other mess to deal with.
Angie: A pre-paid phone? A dead mom who isn’t dead and speaks Italian? Witness protection, perhaps? On the run from the mob? I just want to know who they are! However, I do love that Angie is playing to both Susan and Katherine’s best interests. So it’ll definitely be interesting to see what happens when both Katherine and Susan ask for her advice in the future.
And that’s what was happening in Fairview this week. Can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next.
