Below I have the trailer (which weighs in at over a minute) of Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, the direct to DVD animated feature from Warner Bros. This will be out next year on February 23rd. It apparently has elements from stories spanning generations, utilizing Gardner Fox and Grant Morrison material. If there is one cartoon I miss, it’s Justice league Unlimited–so I leave seeing my boys (which includes ladies) back in some form! DC simply gets their animated line.
Synopsis:
In Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, a “good” LEX LUTHOR arrives from an alternate universe to recruit the JUSTICE LEAGUE to help save his Earth from the Crime Syndicate, a gang of villainous characters with virtually identical super powers to the JUSTICE LEAGUE. What ensues is the ultimate battle of good versus evil in a war that threatens both planets and, through a diabolical plan launched by OWLMAN, puts the balance of all existence in peril.
The movie features an all-star voice cast led by Mark Harmon (NCIS) as SUPERMAN, James Woods (Ghosts of Mississippi) as OWLMAN, Chris Noth (Sex and the City, Law & Order) as LEX LUTHOR, William Baldwin (Dirty Sexy Money) as BATMAN, Gina Torres (Serenity, Firefly) as SUPERWOMAN and Bruce Davison (X-Men) as the President.

I gotta say I’m excited for this. I haven’t watched too many of the Justice League DVD’s, I think the last one I saw was…Final Frontier? I think. It had Neil Patrick Harris in it, that’s what I remember best XD…but I’m excited for this. Not *quite* JLA: Earth2 (or Crisis on Infinite Earths), but I’ll handle. Maybe if this does well they WILL do Crisis on Infinite Earths (though I’ll spend the entire time crying since my favorite Flash dies…)
I’m looking for a bit of redemption, as though I think DC does incredibly well with their animated work, I really was left rather uninspired by the recent Green Lantern release.
