IGN has brought to the interwebs character posters from a movie that I can’t wait for to hit theaters. We have Dave Lizewsk (Aaron aka Kick-Ass played by Aaron Johnson), Hit-Girl (Chloe Moretz) (sweet promo pic), Big Daddy played by Nicolas Cage, and Christopher Kintz-Plasse (McLovin!) as Red Mist.
The cast will also include and Lyndsy Fonseca (who we just noted is back to Desperate Housewives–and I’m thinking we need a poster of!). Kick-Ass comes to us via Matthew Vaughn, who produced Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, and directed and produced Stardust and Layer Cake.
Currently an April 16th, 2010 release date is attached to the adaptation of the comic book series by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.
Why didn’t they line up the posters in order? Then you can tell that the background says KICK-ASS??? Looks like they aren’t glamming up the movie….we’ll see
