Melissa George – Grey’s Anatomy to Lie To Me

EW is reporting that former Grey’s Anatomy (as Sadie Harris) and Alias actress (as Lauren Reed) is moving to Fox’s Lie to Me as a recurring character. George is a Golden Globe award nominated actress (for In Treatment) who is set to appear in Lie to Me starting with the 11th episode.

The report describes her as an “Anna Nicole Smith-type” (which can me a lot of things I don’t ever want to see again) named Clara Martin. Ausiello goes on to report:

…a sassy wife of an older billionaire who has been murdered. After being exonerated in a high-profile murder trial, she assumes control of her husband’s empire. Lightman sees himself in her — naughty, fearless, strategic, and always game for the next adventure. In other words, she’s kinda nuts.

George appeared in films like Lynch’s Mulholland Drive, 30 Days of Night and The Amityville Horror. Lie to Me airs on Fox on Mondays and stars Tim Roth, Kelli Williams, Brendan Hines, Monica Raymund.
