This week the third book in Sandra Ruttan’s Nolan, Hart and Tain series, Lullaby for the Nameless, is out.
Lenore Howard from Fresh Fiction said of the story that it was “a nail-biting race to stop a cold- blooded killer” and that it would appeal not only to fans of the series but that “Newcomers will get a great introduction to these complex characters and the kind of creepy, twisty case that Sandra Ruttan writes so well.”
Glenn Harper from International Noir Fiction said that Lullaby for the Nameless was “a police procedural of the first order” and a “vivid, noir portrait of the hard-scrabble small towns, ethnic tensions, dark urban corners, and deep forest environments of contemporary Canada” calling the main characters “fascinating, troubled investigators.”
To coincide with the release Sandra’s publisher, Dorchester, has made What Burns Within, the first book in the Nolan, Hart and Tain series available to read, in its entirety, for free.
As a quick reminder this Sunday Sandra has an event with Jeff VanderMeer in Baltimore.
