Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter was already released in HD so it made sense that Croteam and Devolver Digital have announced that Serious Sam: The Second Encounter will also receive the same treatment. The Second Encounter should be on PC and console in early 2010 and gets the serious (ha ha) graphical overhaul to make everything silky smooth and up that old school resolution. It is also said to have a new co-op tournament mode, that brings into this day and age as well.
I can still remember playing the old school versions of these games and having so much fun, not as much fun as PO’ed for the 3DO mind you, but what game was ever that much fun. Seriously though, Serious Sam was some classic gaming, and it is nice that they brought it to the next generation in HD.
