Just catching up on a bit of new for The Hobbit adaptation. Comingsoon talked to Viggo Mortensen (who was promoting The Road) about his possible return Middle-Earth as Aragorn, and were told that it’s more than likely that the character would not be in the first film–remember the story will be split into two films. Further, the director of the film, Guillermo del Toro, confirmed he (del Toro) would be appearing.
del Toro told TheOneRing.net that he will cameo as a monster, saying “I will have a line or two and die quickly”. The end of last month brought us news that John Rhys-Davies would not be reprising his role as a dwarf.
