It is not even Thanksgiving yet, but the networks are announcing some new holiday themed shows. CBS has something new on its plate with Yes, Virginia. It will be an animated story of a young girl in New York during the late 19th century trying to figure out if Santa Claus is real. The story is based on a newspaper editorial “Is There a Santa Claus?”, which was published in the New York Sun.
The show will debut on Friday, December 11th and includes the voice talents of Neil Patrick Harris, Jennifer Lover Hewitt, and Alfred Molina. Sounds like it will be something pretty good. You have some voice talent and what one would think is a darn good concept with the newspaper editorial. I always like the whole is Santa Claus real story as well, something magical about it. Plus they are doing it animated, which is what I like in a holiday show. Keep your eyes on this one, it could turn into something special for the holidays.
