Yesterday I had dialogue with the BSC HBO (super) secret agent and in passing and was asked “you got all the recent True Blood casting right?”, and since I just came off of posting about this new trio yesterday I thought I had it handled, but find myself proven wrong as there are indeed more. I missed a werewolf! According to THR, Joe Manganiello & Cooper Huckabee will be board when the Vampire-drama returns for Season 3.
Manganiello will be playing “Alcide Herveaux” (Flash Thompson!), who is being described as an alpha werewolf in the report. Huckabee will play “Joe Lee Mickens”, the father of Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell). Other already announced additions for Season 3 are Shannon Lucio, Marshal Allman, Denis O’Hare, Theo Alexander, and a larger role for Kristin Bauer’s “Pam”.
