In September we go the word on who would play the King of Mississippi, and now we know who his man is! THR is reporting that Theo Alexander has been cast in the role of Russell Edgington, and will be introduced when True Blood comes back for Season 3. This adds to the two other casting announcements (Shannon Lucio and Marshal Allman) we got this week
Alexander hasn’t been in a whole hell of a lot, but he gets official BSC-approval by being both Pushing Dasies and Chuck alumni. Interestingly, it also gives more ammo to Hal Duncan’s thoughts on vampires (well worth the read). Alexander’s will be “Talbot” and is described in the report as:
“intensely beautiful”
and having…
an acerbic sense of humor and loves to cook despite vampires’ inherent lack of cooking talents.
True Blood returns to HBO for Season 3 in (around) the summer of 2010.
