I had never noticed that this was on youtube before, but I just saw all-world, award winning, and (more importantly) BSC-approved artist Jill Thompson twit about In Search of Ditko, a 2007 Documentary that aired on BBC chronicling the attempts at finding legendary cartoonist/artist Steve Ditko (think Spider Man, just to get started). A whole bunch of notables like John Romita Sr., Neil Gaiman, Joe Quesada, Jerry Robinson, Alan Moore and Stan Lee appear, and it’s well worth the look and listen.
Remember that Amazing Fantasy art (1st appearance of some character called Spider Man) that got donated to The Library of Congress recently? Ditko goodness.
