Back November we brought you word that Twilight star Ashley Greene was in talks to be in a Joel Silver film, The Apparition, a supernatural film said to be based on true events. Variety is now reporting that joining the hottest Cullen, and starring opposite of her will be Sebastian Stan. Most viewers will know Stan from CW’s Gossip Girl in his role as Carter Baizen, but many may remember him from last year’s short lived Kings (BSC’s own, Elena covered the series for us) in which he played Prince Jack Benjamin.
Stan has a leg up on Greene – or at least we do – because we know that he will play “a post grad trying to figure out his life.” Greene’s specific role is either yet unknown, or rather is as of yet unannounced. personally, I never saw the official announcement, as even our own previous post was a classic “attached to” post. If Greene is on board, you release an incredibly photogenic press release. Whoever is cast, and whatever the role, The Apparition will be both directed and written by Todd Lincoln The aforementioned Joel Silver will be producing with Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman and be released some time next year in the U.S.
To step away from Stan for a moment permanently, Ashley Greene is joining her Twilight Saga brethren with post-New Moon project announcements. Yesterday we brought more new via a promo image of Kristen Stewart’s Welcome to the Rileys, and earlier int he week we brought a set of promo images from Robert Pattinson’s Remember Me, a film he stars in with Emile de Ravin. Tomio is team Ashley.
