Sorry, a day late with Golden Globes related news/rumors, it just aired last night here! Glee has becomes this very interesting and constant opportunity for big named guest stars to inhabit its otherwise almost unnatural, unpretentious, back-drop. So, is J-Lo in Fox’s newest hit show (which recently took home a Golden Globe)? We don’t know, but we know both a parties are interested in each other if we can believe Glee creator Ryan Murphy. If it is true it’s just the latest of news splashes made by the show in the young new year.
In a press conference after the ceremonies, Murphy stated (via TV Guide): “I have a meeting with Jennifer Lopez in a couple of weeks – she wants to come on, we want her to be a cafeteria lady.” Even at 40, Lopez would probably make all-word on the any cafeteria lady team,–she’s still got the goods. Already this year, we learned that some members of Glee will appear as their animated selves on the Cleveland Show. More importantly, we learned the their will be life to the show even after its mid-season break, as Glee is a go for Season 2, including open auditions to fill roles in the show. Season 1 still has life and new face though, as the Glee club will get a visit from Olivia Newton-John, who is set to a duet with Jane Lynch
Glee is set to return to conclude its already award winning first season on Tuesday, April 13th; returning the cast of Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz.
