Disney has released a new image of Tim Burton’s interpretation of Lewis Carroll’s Mad Hatter, brought to life by Johnny Depp. Released via Facebook, it is the first official image of the Alice in Wonderland character from the film. We have seen the character among the several promo image released, such as this one (part of two others that combine into a large scene), a group shot, and these early images scanned from a magazine.
The Mad Hatter is also featured in several clips and trailers that have been released, the most recent of which was released last month. Along with Depp, Tim Burton has collected the talents of Anne Hatheway, Helena Bonham Carter, Michael Sheen, Mia Wasikowska, Matt Lucas, Crispin Glover, Stephen Fry and Alan Rickman to bring Wonderland back to life!. It opens on March 5th, 2010 in Diseny Digital 3-D.
