I’ve done a ton of casting news for Legend of the Seeker over the last few months (as I find myself a fan of so many of their choices–like this week’s choice of Keisha Castle-Hughes), yet somehow I missed October’s announcement that Jolene Blalock would be guest appearing in the second (current) season of the show. I found out a couple of weeks ago due to a promo image of her appearance floating around, but it was smaller than a thumbnail and I’ve just been waiting for some larger looks–they have now arrived, and in greater numbers.
Jolene Blalock is probably best known as the recommendable element in a show that was otherwise not so, as she starred in Star Trek: Enterprise as T’Pol (a Vulcan). In Legend of the Seeker she will play one of the Sisters of the Dark who will apparently be bringing serious beef with Bridget Regan’s Kahlan. “The Seeker” must imply the power of roaming around the countryside and running into the hottest people in the world, around each and every corner, as you add Blalock to people Craig Horners happens upon to a list that already includes Gina Holden, Charisma Carpenter, and Aimee Teegarden, all while he has Bridget Regan in tow (though, it could easily be the other way around).
