I cannot escape the shallows and I don’t want to, because I love just about every guest appearance in Legend of the Seeker,. The thing is, Keisha Castle-Hughes is pretty phenomenal in The Whale Rider, a role that got her a nod by the Academy (she was the youngest to ever be honored), and I don’t care what you think of the prequels, it still says “Star Wars”, and even a cameo in anything of the kind gives you stature and BSC-approval (except Smits–I don’t know, it just bugs me). That aside, we at BSC feel a natural kindred with anyone portraying the role described as “the living embodiment of a God”, and if throw in the description of “beautiful and powerful young woman”, I’m all ears.
Keisha Castle-Hughes is set to play the Creator, or at least someone who claims the title for her own and looks to be a whole lot of trouble for the Bridget Regan crew which also includes Zed and the Seeker guy mentioned in title (Craig Horner’s Richard). Previously, The Legend of the Seeker has featured the BSC-approved talent of Gina Holden, Charisma Carpenter, and Aimee Teegarden. The show is in national syndication, produced by ABC Studios & distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. It’s based on the books by Terry Goodkind ,which I can say are superior to books by Robert Newcomb. That’s about it.
