A couple of days ago Collider posted 5 clips from The Yellow Handkerchief, the film starring Twilight’s Kristen Stewart that’s set to debut in limited released next month. May not be able to label her as “Twilight” any more actually, as Stewart has a number of films lined up this year along with this year’s Eclipse. The Yellow Handkerchief puts Stewart in a cast that also includes co-star Eddie Redmayne, and William Hurt and Maria Bello. A couple of weeks ago we posted some promo images and another clip from the film, to go along with a previous clip from December (which looks like it may be an opener on this one).
The other films featuring Stewart that I mentioned above are The Runaways, the biopic of the 80s band which she stars in with Dakota Fanning as Joan Jett, and Welcome to the Rileys, where Stewart plays a stripper in a film that also features James Gadolfini. Both debuted at this week’s Sudance Festival.
Film Synopsis - A love story at its core, The Yellow Handkerchief is about three strangers of two generations who embark on a road trip through post Katrina Louisiana. Along the way, relationships forge and change in a myriad of ways, leading to the possibility of second chances at life and love.
Brett Hanson (William Hurt) dealing with a painful past, crosses paths with Martine (Kristen Stewart), a troubled teenager ,and her new ‘ride’ Gordy (Eddie Redmayne).
