This is an update to a previous post from over the weekend of a Season 6 Lost promo image. As everybody knows, this is Lost’s final season, and much like another popular show with strong SF ties that recently concluded (Battlestar Galactica), we have a Last Supper promo to examine, and no doubt over examine. The original image was a scan from the pages of US Weekly, and while a solid enough image, it wasn’t an optimal look for Lostian easter egg hunters, so today we have a hi-rez image that is actually different than the one from the publication. Still front-and-center, however, is Locke, and still maintaining the position of Judas is Sayid. As I noted in the previous post, there are still some very notable characters absent from the scene.

The final season starts on February 2nd and we already know who some of the new faces we should expect to see with regulars like Josh Holloway, Matthew Fox, Naveen Andrews, Evangeline Lilly. earlier this year we brought the word that John Hawkes (from Deadwood!), Hiroyuki Sanada will be joining the cast and that Rebecca Mader would be returning to reprise her role as Charlotte. I also saw Ian Somerhalder (Boone!) on Jimmy Fallon last year talking about just coming back and filming for this final season. Speaking of which, we are also very pleased to letyou know that BSC’s Matt Cibula will be recapping the final season’s episodes for us every week! Just a slight correction. If I am not mistaken, in the last supper painting Judas is sitting and the only one to have his elbow on the table. He is technically sitting fourth from the left and leaning backward away from Jesus. The person sitting in his place is, I believe, Kate and not Sayid. I think Sayid is in Peter’s position, at least spatially.
