EW is reporting that Melinda Clarke of The O.C. and CSI fame will be joining Vampire Diaires.
Melinda will be playing Kelly Donovan who is Matt’s drinking, absentee mother who seems rather self absorbed with her own life. Ausiello is saying that Clarke will be around for at least three episodes of the show. I agree with him, Melinda needs a permanent gig on this show.
Me personally, I liked her on Entourage, Chuck and Reaper the best, but hey I have a soft spot for those shows anyway. Chuck needs more pretty women named Sasha on the show. So is everyone listening? Give this woman a stead role somewhere again, she deserves it.
