Moon Bloodgood & Oliver Jackson-Cohen in ‘Faster’

Over the weekend we told you that Lost lovely, Maggie Grace, had been cast in Faster, joining Dwayne Johnson and Billy Bob Thorton, and upcoming film from the director of Soul Food and Men of Honor. Following up that news, THR reports that Moon Bloodgood & Oliver Jackson-Cohen are also now on-board the movie which begins filming next month.

Jackson-Cohen is cast as the antagonist, a self-made millionaire who enjoys killing. He is also set to be in Going the Distance later this year, starring Justin Long, Drew Barrymore, Christina Applegate. Moon Bloodgood, who you may have seen in Terminator Salvation, is a favorite of mine because she’s on Burn Notice–one of my favorite shows, where she plays an intrusive cop in Jeffrey Donovan’s life. Her role in Faster will be that of the “ex-con’s girlfriend”–who I am assuming means Dwayne Johnson’s.

Salma Hayek’s status in the film has not been changed since our previous post when we noted that she was in negotiations for a role.
