I agree. He brought nothing to the show and honestly, was a horrible actor. He seemed to stumble through his lines and you never really got the feel that he knew anything or was a real agent. It was awkward.

I disagree. I think he brought alot to the show. The show is new and we all need more time to get to know all of them better.

I want to see him brought back. We have to stop comparing the show to the regular NCIS. This is a new show with great new characters, i happen to like all of them.

Can’t wait to see what happens!!

I thought Dom was played well as a newbie would be nervous and “stumbly”

I think that there is more than meets the eye. The creators of NCIS are to gifted to have a bad actor on their shows. Did it ever occure to enyone that Dominic might be a dual charactor?! That’s right I’m calling out two sidedness. Dominic has to play it dumb to not be found out as an evil spy duh!!! I have reason to believe that Dominic will come back showing all of his true evil colors. He will be muslim, and under cover to take NCIS down. I would love to see it all go down.

no, dominic hadn’t brought much to the show yet. but it wasnt even half the season yet. i think they should give him more time on the show to watch if he grows at an actor instead of throwing him out of the show just because he needs some more practice.

I haven’t seen much of Craig as an actor, but my problems are more with how the role of Dominic has been written so far. Once upon a time, McGee was the rookie agent, but I think his personality showed sooner than Dom’s. It’s true Dom wasn’t in the backdoor pilot, but then again Kate Todd wasn’t in NCIS’s backdoor pilot, and her personality showed immediately.

Maybe the writers were finding the character of Dom difficult to write, and that’s why they made him go missing.

I just want it finished, is he dead or is he alive. then let’s get on with the show. to completely ignore the incident makes no sense.

I would love to see Dom’s character develop. I think he is purposely in the background, inept for a reason. In fact, he is a great actor to be so convincing in the role. You don’t have to make a lot of noise to be heard.

I didn’t think Dom was inept, but I hadn’t seen why he was part of the team, what particular skills he brought that no one else had. Everyone else’s role has been established: Callen is the chameleon and team leader. Sam is the intimidator, fluent in Arabic, with an understanding of Islam. Kensi is the instictive, deceptively tough female operative. Nate is the profiler. Hetty is the wise den mother to them all. Even Eric–a guest character, not a series regular–has a more defined role than Dom.

I just re-watched last night’s opening credits and noticed Adam Jamal Craig was not included, but Barret Foa (Eric) has been promoted to series regular. According to Craig’s Wikipedia entry, Shane Brennan has said there might be more episodes featuring Craig. Then again, Brennan has also said Macy might reappear.
