“That’s a bad ass chick” indeed! The trailer for The Losers has hit the web. Previously we’ve posted some promo images, this batch from November showcasing a team-shot and one with Saldana in action, and another from October of the actress on set. Saldana isn’t the only one kicking ass, as she’s in a cast that also includes Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Idris Elba, Columbus Short, Chris Evans, Oscar Jaenada and Jason Patric.
The Losers is based of the Vertigo title written by Andy Diggle and illustrated by Jock. Earlier this week I saw that the first issue of The Losers was available for free download as well. Historically, comic book companies are really terrible at promoting their product when an applicable movie is – and Vertigo/DC is terrible at promotion period -but its out here, it’s a cool title with a sweet creative team, go check it out. The film is hitting theaters on April 19th.
Film Synopsis - “The Losers” are a special black-ops team whose members originated from several different branches of the military. In their own units, each one of them at some point or another lost a soldier under their command, hence they dubbed themselves ‘The Losers’.
After being betrayed and left for dead, the team root out those who targeted them for assassination.
