A couple of days ago when we told you that Dawn Olivieri was cast in HBO’s True Blood as Janice Herveaux, we mentioned that she reportedly auditioned for the role of “Debbie Pelt”, a role that EW is now saying has gone to Brit Morgan. Pelt is ex-girlfriend of Alcide (played by Joe Manganiello) and described as a psycho villainess werewolf. The report indicates that Morgan fills the last of the major new roles for the show’s third season (there’s been a ton though–see below!)
Morgan was Lacey Thornfield in The Middleman (ABC) and has appeared in Cold Case and CSI. She joins the aforementioned Olvieri and previously cast Lindsay Pulsipher, Joe Manganiello, Cooper Huckabee, Alfre Woodward, James Frain, J. Smith-Cameron, Theo Alexander, Shannon Lucio, Kevin Alejandro, Marshall Allman and Denis O’Hare as new faces we can expect to see in True Blood’s third season.
