A whole lot of awesome going on here, and I’ve been continually not turned off by what’s been shown of this remake of one of my favorite childhood films. Clash of the Titans stars Sam Worthington, Gemma Arterton, Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson, Izabella Miko and Mads Mikkelsen, and (as mentioned) a remake of the classic ‘81 film (which had the sweet steampunk owl). This bad boy comes hits theaters on March 26th, 2010,
Last month brought us another trailer, which I believe was the second as we posted a previous on in November (which looks like it was pulled). Besides a lack of Gemma, I’m diggin what I’ve seen, and we’ve posted some of it here at BSC in the form of a featurette which has many of the film’s stars discussing their roles; 3 posters from December, and various sets of promo images. Clash of the Titans is directed by Louis Leterrier (Transporter, Incredible Hulk).
Film Synopsis: In “Clash of the Titans,” the ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.
