A couple of days ago we posted the video for the film’s opening and closing theme by Avril Lavigne, and now Disney has unveiled its first clip at Tim Burton’s take on the Lewis Carroll mythology. If you caught this little show called the Super Bowl earlier this month you may have caught a glimpse of our new Alice – played by Mia Wasikowska – take the trips back. Wasikowska is joined by a very familiar cast that includes Johnny Depp (Mad Hatter), Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Michael Sheen, Matt Lucas, Crispin Glover, Stephen Fry and Alan Rickman.
This clip hit the web via Myspace and is footage I have not seen before, featuring Alice and the Rabbit. While it’s our first clip, we have had several looks at Burton’s world via three trailers, through a featurette with Depp, and a teaser that included the aforementioned Lavigne track.
Alice in Wonderland is in theaters on March 5th.
