Yesterday we pointed to a new image of Anne Hathaway’s White Queen from the Tim Burton/Disney Alice in the Wonderland 3-D feature coming out next month (March 5th!). Today we have the TV teaser that has some footage I don’t recall seeing in previous trailers that we’ve seen. The video is accompanied by the sounds of Avril Lavigne performing “Alice (Underground)”, the film’s closing song that will be the first track on the soundtrack, titled Almost Alice. I saw a full track listing for the album over at /Film earlier in the week. The song will also be featured on Lavigne’s upcoming 4th album, scheduled to drop at some point this year.
Mia Wasikowska is Burton’s returning Alice, and she is joined by a cast that includes the aforementioned Hathaway, Johnny Deep (Mad hatter), Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Michael Sheen as the White Rabbit, Matt Lucas as Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Crispin Glover (Knave of Hearts), Stephen Fry (Cheshire Cat) and Alan Rickman (Caterpillar).
