Super Mario Galaxy 2 North America Release Date

Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be hitting North America on May 23rd, as per Cammie Dunaway from Nintendo America at the Nintendo Summit in San Francisco today. Those lucky enough to attend will also be able to play the game at today’s event.

Super Mario Galaxy 2will have 90 percent new levels with the other 10% being a remix from Mario Galaxy with different goals. Shigeru Miyamoto had originally said that they would create new variations of the worlds in Super Mario Galaxy, but the developers had so many cool new ideas that they scrapped that plan. I am so looking forward to a new Mario game and the fact that it will not be a remix anymore, but rather new content is even better!

I looks like Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M will be hitting Australia Mid Year as per a similar event in their country.

Alright! Mario galaxy is one of the three games I play on the wii (next to Supersmash bros and Mario kart.) I’m stoked!

I can’t beleive your saying that metroid is boring! I have all three of the Metroid Primes and they were great! At least there not like some of these games that you can beat in 2 days. If you don’t think metroids really that great, go and see the new Metroid Other M trailer.
