Finally, some interesting twists and storylines and a trip to New York! Oh, yes, the lives of the ladies on Wisteria Lane are finally heating up….

Gaby: It is so not a surprise that Gaby was a queen diva when she was a model. I mean, when she was on the plane retelling her past to Angie, she straight out said “it’s not bragging when it’s the truth”; ha, ha, oh, Gaby. I definitely got a kick out of her ridiculous antics. I also enjoyed the fact that Heidi Klum and Paulina Poriskova (who, by the way, was almost unrecognizable with such minimal makeup compared to her Top Model judging days) made cameos and were totally bitchy to Gaby, who definitely deserved it. But I’m glad Gaby was put in her place with a wake-up call and had a heartfelt and sincere conversation with Anna.
Lynette: A few things to discuss with the Scavos. One. How were they sending so much money to Preston to keep traveling this whole time? Two. At least Preston is over the older woman whom Lynette paid off, albeit for a supposed gold-digging Russian woman. Three. I totally knew that Preston was going to propose; it was just so obvious and annoying. Four. Get rid of the ‘stache, Preston–you’re not Burt Reynolds. And five. Be careful, Lynette, Irina is smarter than you thought she was by catching that fake ring, yikes.
Bree: Seriously, woman why are you so trusting!? How could she promote the new guy with such little background?? I mean, really, Andrew is the only rational one, and even he showed up to work drunk. However, I love that creepy Sam’s true identity was finally revealed to be Rex’s (Bree’s first husband’s) son! I may have let out a “FINALLY!” scream because there was finally a good twist on the show that I didn’t already see coming. He still seems a bit untrusting to me, so I’m curious to see where this goes, especially with Andrew and the previews for next week definitely showing some tension.
Katherine: Just admit it, woman, you’re a lesbian. I definitely laughed a bit when she was chatting with the neighbors about her experience and the fact that Susan was the first to find out; it’s just a funny scenario all around. I love how sweet Robin was when they had their talk and the fact that it wasn’t just a drunken accident.
Susan: Where did they get that shimmery silver dress, because I want it! What a nice gift to herself, and, man, I want it, it’s adorable. I also loved Mike’s seduction attempt to prove his masculinity on the kitchen counter, so awkward and just so funny. Don’t worry, Mike, you’re a man’s man!
Angie: Okay, I know someone died, but couldn’t her secret have been something a little more exciting than a environmental activist who killed someone? And I totally knew that Nick wasn’t Danny’s dad, it was just too obvious that his father was the one they were running from. But eighteen years on the run and never seeing her mother? That’s just sad. But, man, of course the nosey neighbor had to sell them out, and for a measly thousand dollars! I mean, really.
Pretty much it wasn’t a quiet week on Wisteria, that’s for sure, and I can’t wait to see what happens next week when more secrets are revealed and relationships are tested.

“It counted,” Katherine finally admitted to Robin. Thank God she had the courage to admit at least that much. But I can certainly understand the angst.
