I really haven’t been able to keep up with tall the Kick-Ass promos. All of it is hot to death, but I can’t post every new poster released at 30 new websites every other day, so it has been a minute since we talked about what is actually the single movie I most want to see this year. When last we left Kick-Ass, the red band trailer dropped and inspired no let down from the buzz created by the international and domestic trailers released earlier. The trailers, however, aren’t even as close to as awesome as the crazy clips we’ve seen, especially those featuring Hit-Girl (played by Chloe Moretz). This short clip features Kick-Ass and Red Mist whippin’ around town in the latter’s ride.
Kick-Ass hits theaters on April 16th and stars Nicolas Cage, Aaron Johnson, Lyndsy Fonseca, Mark Strong, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and the aforementioned Moretz. It’s directed by Matthew Vaughn (produced Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, and both directed and produced Stardust and Layer Cake.) It’s based off of the comic book by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.
