THR is reporting that the cast of Nikita is adding another assassin in BSC favorite Lyndsy Fonseca. Last year we told you that the former The Young and The Restless star would be making her back to Wisteria Lane, and with her joining Nikita, CW just made the show that much more watchable. She’s also slated to be Kick-Ass (as Katie Deauxma), so Fonseca’s on a roll, as I can’t wait for that movie. THR gives this bit about her character:
Fonseca will play another assassin-in-training, a girl from a deprived background.
Back in February we learned that Maggie Q had been tapped to take on the starring role in Nikita (don’t know how I did take a chance to post a Maggie Q news item). When her casting was announced, this was said:
the highest profile series role for an Asian actress on a broadcast drama series and the highest profile CW minority casting in the network’s four-year history.
You don’t have to sell me on Maggie Q.
