Last night SNL’s musical guests was Vampire Weekend and below we have a clip of their performance of “Cousins”, a song off of their second album, Contra, which was released in January. The band was introduced by Zach Galfanakis, Saturday Night Live’s host for the evening.
Our own Matt Cibula gave his thoughts on Vampire Weekend’s Contra earlier this year in his column 47 Miles of Barbed Wire. He said this of “Cousins”, “hyper-perky surf-and-ska-influenced blasts”.
