The 2010 winners of the Academy of Country Music Awards were named last night in Las Vegas and it was ladies’ night out. Miranda Lambert Lambert & Lady Antebellum (Hillary Scot) had big nights, with Lambert winning Video of the Year, Album of the Year, and Top Female Vocalist of the Year, and Lady Antebellum taking home the Song of the Year, Single Record of the Year, and honors for Top Vocal Group of the Year. Carrie Underwood only took home one award, but she was large, becoming the first female two-time recipient of the Entertainer of the Year honor.
This is the first award shows in the last 8 months that I haven’t seen dominated by Taylor Swift. Somewhere, Kanye is pleased!
