I’ve been seeing this theme of big budgets film promos not highlighting the real star of these films. I had to go through the publicity of Clash of the Titans, another sword & sandal film with Gemma Arterton, that had all the publicity go to male lead (in this case Sam Worthington). Don’t nobody want to see Robert Downey Jr. in Iron Man 2, it’s all about Scarlett Jo, and I’m not letting it happen with Prince of Persia and Jake Gyllenhaal! So below, we have two tv spots from some movie called The Prince of Persia that has Gyllenhaal in the title role, that as far as we are concerned still actually stars Gemma Arterton.
Damon posted (yeah, Damon contributed news–bookmark that!) the trailer from last month and before that we got the international and domestic trailers, along with February’s Super Bowl TV Spot.. Waaay back to last Summer, we got a featurette for Prince of Persia, which is directed by Mike Newell (Donnie Brasco, Pushing Tin, Harry Potterand the Goblet of Fire). Among those joining Arterton and her co-star Gyllenhaal are Ben Kingsley and Alfred Molina.
