Looks like Justin Bieber is going to be adding comedy to his resume this weekend on SNL! The 16-year-old singer was already slated to perform as the musical guest, alongside host (and SNL alum) Tina Fey. Now he has reported via Twitter that he’s rehearsed at least one sketch.
No word on what the sketch will be or whether he will be playing a role or coming on as himself. Guess we’ll have to wait for Saturday night to find out! Regarding his musical appearance, we do know that it is in support of his newest album, My World 2.0.
Bieber will hardly be the first musical talent to expand his range on SNL. Justin Timberlake has of course gone on to host the show, but keeps to his roots by doing regular musical collaborations with Adam Samberg. Maybe Bieber can drop in a contribution to the next Incredibad album? That would be a way for him to start asserting himself as a teen and not a kid!
