Desperate Housewives – “I Guess This Is Goodbye” – review

And we’re back for the final week on Wisteria Lane, and, man, was it a bit of a doozy.

desperate housewives season finale review

Gaby: I just about died laughing at her Angie impersonation in the hospital, so ridiculous and so funny. And Gaby’s antics all together were pretty ridiculous and admirable and hilarious. I’m just glad Gaby thought of someone other than herself and helped save Danny and Angie and all that jazz.

Lynette: Okay, first of all, how did we go from “take me to the hospital” to “the baby is coming now” in like 30 seconds? Seriously? No. And, ew, Eddie delivering the baby with her? Ew; just ew. And how in the world could she let Eddie hold her? No, thank you. And then how did no one hear about her giving birth in his house and him being the strangler? I mean, really, people!

Bree: How in the world would–or why–she sign over her company without a fight? And how can you not let your son go to jail but you can send your husband? That makes absolutely no sense; I am totally on Orson’s side for this one. However, Orson was a little extreme in leaving simply because of that decision, especially because of everything else they’ve been through. But  I am glad she finally told Gaby the truth, and that should be interesting to see how she and Carlos react.

Susan: So sad to see the Delphinos pack up their house, it was such a cute little house, and moving from your family’s house is just hard! I mean, why not just refinance the house, people? That’s an option, right?

Angie: So Patrick doesn’t have a gun at all times, right? How come she doesn’t fight back? Oooooh, but she put the bomb in the detonator, and, oh, what a great twist! Way to kill Patrick, and, man, that was awesome, nicely done Angie. And goodbye, Angie and Nick, you were a good addition to the season, and I’m sad to see you go. I just wonder who will take your place next season and what crazy secret they’ll be hiding as well. But Danny and Anna? Wonder if they’ll be returning to Fairview any time soon.

Okay, besides all of those stories, whose kid isn’t theirs???? I mean, that’s a random plot to throw in the mix for next season. And honestly, how long is Katherine staying in France? And welcome back Paul? Craziiiiness.

Basically it was a pretty good way to end the season, and I’m curious to see where it goes next fall.
