Buckle your seat belts, adventure fans, we’ve got two new clips for Jerry Bruckheimer’s Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. In case you didn’t know, Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton star in this live action Disney film based on the popular video game franchise. Ben Kingsley and Alfred Molina round out the cast, while Mike Newell (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) directs.
One clip illustrates the time bending powers of the artifact known as “The Dagger of Time”, while the other prepares viewers for the action the film is sure to deliver. You can visit Persia in theaters May 28th, but first take a look at the featurette uncovered earlier this month and these other revealing clips.
Recently media personalities asked Gyllenhaal if he was worried about his film competing with Sex and the City. The actor thought his beefcake bod might be arsenal enough to compete against the fab ladies of that other film. We’ll find out this weekend!
