Glee – Season 3 is official!
Finally an update to sing and dance about. Fox has officially picked up the musical television phenomenon Glee for a third season. Entertainment Weekly unloaded the exclusive just yesterday. It isn’t difficult to see why Fox was eager for more. Glee is currently rated as the Number 1 new scripted series among adults aged 18-49 and adults aged 18-34. The High School dramedy has averaged 9.4 million total viewers.
“In just one year, Glee has transcended the television landscape and emerged as a global pop culture phenomenon,” Peter Rice, the Fox Networks Group Entertainment Chairman, said in a statement. “We think our Gleeks worldwide are going to love what we’ll have in store for them in seasons two and three, ” Ryan Murphy television also released in a statement.
The first season of Glee will end Tuesday, June 8th. The season has garnered a Peabody, a Golden Globe, and a Screen Actors Guild award. The next episode, which will air May 25th, will spotlight all things Ga-Ga. To hold you over until then, we have a preview for you. And don’t forget to see what you missed if you didn’t see the last Glee guest starring Neil Patrick Harris.

Just one mistake: Glee is still in its 1st Season (the episodes airing now is just the second half of the 1st Season). Season 2 won’t start until Fall 2010.

you’re all wrong. Glee has had 2 seasons. Season one had 13 episodes and ended with their win at sectionals. Season 2 however was a half season having only 6 episodes ending with their loss at reginals. Now there is season 3 coming. A season is a season. Its not being marketed as season such and such part whatever. It’s 3 seasons people. 1..2..3.

Acutally Hollister.. Your wrong. Season 1 was 22 episodes. I just bought it on DVD yesterday. Season 2 started in Fall, September maybe? and is still ongoing. Now a season 3 will start up most likely next fall in 2O11. Just the way season 1 ended in Spring and season 2 began in Fall. I love Glee, and I think Matt Morrison is extremely sexy for being a 32 year old

hey your right i bought the box set too. and season one was 22 episodes, Im in uk and we are half way through season 2 which i beleive only has 6 episodes, if season 3 is set to air in the fall then the uk wont get it until early 2012 i estimate. xx

FOR GOD SAKE!!!!! Season 1 is all that has been shown!!! for Hollister: if your going to come on here and state facts make sure they are right first!! season one, like many American shows had a season break, season 2 is now being filmed! I love the stupidity but I am beginning to think that people are acting ignorant on purpose as I am sure they have been to amazon or any other website selling DVDs and seen that there are three Glee packages, one is the Road to Sectionals, one is the Road to Regionals and one is The Complete Season 1 (the last two are not out yet) and if there’s still any confusion, just wait until a good samaritan comes along and explains it. Btw what Americans call seasons we Brits call series. To Americans the series is the whole thing. Seasons last a year, okay so they only last three months but you use that terminology and then the “fake season 2″ of Glee wasn’t even a season. There were 9 episodes following the first 13. But now there has only been ONE season of Glee, they are currently filming season TWO. You can get season ONE from Amazon about a week before it starts airing on Fox in the U.S.A.

The pilot episode of the show was broadcast on May, 2009, and the rest of the season began on September , 2009. Fox initially ordered thirteen episodes of Glee, picking the show up for a full season on September 21, 2009, ordering nine more episodes. The remainder of the first season aired from April 13, 2010 to June 8, 2010 when the season finale was held. The series has been renewed for both a second and a third season

to crackin I do realise that wikipedia is not always official, but I also realise on the official Glee site it states that its 1 season – 2 volumes, hench why yours is 1 Volume 1, you can now get 1 volume 2 to make the full set!! Also the fact that e4 are going to be putting the new season on as season 2 makes it rather easy for people to realise there has only been 1 season so far!! and yes I know season 2 has almost finished being filmed, I didnt say it was going to be a long time, just that it was still being filmed, so even though it is nearly finished I am right in saying it is still on going! anything else?

Okay heres what happened:
Season One: SECTIONALS, Quinn gets pregnant, at sectionals 2 other schools steal New Directions songs but they still win.
Season Two: REGIONALS, Jesse St. James comes to Mckinley High and he and rachel start dating, he dumps her and then he later leads her to the parking lot where Vocal Adrenaline thro eggs at her. Before eggs are thrown Vocal Adrenaline go to Mckinley High’s auditiorium and perform ‘Another one bites the Dust’ to freak New Directions out and then V.A fill the music room with toilet paper. Later one New Directions ask them to come back to their auditorium and New D. perform ‘We want the funk’ because V.A have never pulled off a ‘Funk’ number before. Will Shuester dates Emma and then April rhodes stays at will’s house and then will cheats on emma will the V.A coach, shelby, and rachel finds her mom but i wont tell u who cos that will spoil it. At regionals they just finish their numbers (‘Faithfully’ a mash up of ‘Anyway you want it – lovin’ touchin’ squeezin’ and ‘Don’t stop believing’) and the judges are SUE SYLVESTER, OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN, JOSH GROBAN and ROD REMMINGTON. Quinns mom goes up and talks to quinn and apologizes and says she’s left Mr. Fabray and then Quinns water broke. They go to hospital and quinn has a baby girl that puck calls BETH. Then rachels mom adopts beth because she mucked up with rachel and now she cant have anymore kids cos of surgery and always wanted a baby girl.
Vocal adrenaline do their numbers (rather boring songs if you ask me) and then the judges go and judge and then they announce winners and runners up but i wont tell u cos that will spoil it.

Okay, so it got all messed up here:
but season 3 is still part of their Junior year, so they can probably go up to Season 4
Season 1 went, they lost,and then Sue still let glee stay by blackmailing Principal Figgins.So then season 2 came back after and they all came back to school. Season 2 has ended with them winning Regionals or sectionals, i forget. They get Sue all mad cause they beat her team. Season 3 is I THINK starting next fall. and Season 2 was so long cause they skipped weeks which annoyed me. They took a month long break after the Xmas special and started after the superbowl. you could say that was part 2 or so to speak. and @Gleek same here
