Mark your calenders for July 16th. It’s a Friday, and it marks the theatrical release of science fiction mind bender, Inception. I cannot wait to see this film. With Christopher Nolan at the helm, I’m feeling nearly the same level of anticipation as I felt prior to the release of The Dark Knight in 2008. To only further the excitement, Warner Bros. Pictures has just released character posters.
There are seven posters in all and each comes with a clever character nickname:
- Leonardo DiCaprio: The Extractor
- Ellen Page: The Architect
- Tom Hardy (RocknRolla): The Forger
- Marion Cotillard: The Shade
- Joseph Gordon-Levitt: The Point Man
- Cillian Murphy: The Mark
- Ken Watanabe: The Tourist
Want more? We’ve got it. You can see the American and International Inception trailers as well as a hot clip about the film.

Film Synopsis - Sci-Fi Action. Acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan directs an international cast in an original sci-fi actioner that travels around the globe and into the intimate and infinite world of dreams. Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb’s rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible–inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. This summer, your mind is the scene of the crime.
