Betty White is grabbing the headlines and accolades, but SNL did have a musical guest over the weekend and it was none other than Jay-Z (and company). I never thought I’d see Betty White introduce a Jigga performance, but it happened, it’s hot, and we have both of his Jay’s songs for you below. Jay-Z took to the stage twice, one delivering a medley of songs that included “Public Service Announcement” “On to the Next One”, “99 Problems”, “Empire State of Mind” and “Me and My Girlfriend”, and then again, dedicating “Forever Young” to White. No Alicia Keys or Beyonce (his wife) to sing their parts in the songs, but Bridget Kelly was on hand to fill in for the former.
Big fan of Jay, at least his earlier stuff like on Reasonable Doubt, which is just a classic hip hop music album.
