Sasha Grey to HBO’s Entourage

She’s daring, she’s sheik, she’s Sasha Grey and she’s a porn star. But now she’s quite the in demand actress as well. TV Guide and the New York Post confirm that Grey has landed herself a multi-episode appearance in the upcoming seventh season of HBO’s series Entourage. “I think Sasha’s going to have a very successful transition,” says Entourage creator Doug Ellin. Further, he explained, “Sasha’s the biggest porn star in the world right now. I wouldn’t have done this storyline if Sasha passed. Luckily she was okay with doing it.” The male cast members reportedly agreed unanimously with the casting decision. Grey has also been on the big screen in a leading role in Steven Soderbergh’s 2009 film, The Girlfriend Experience.

The story arc Grey’s in was inspired by actor Charlie Sheen’s relationship with porn actress Ginger Lynn in the late 1990s. Sheen can’t seem to avoid the headlines right now. Grey’s character will meet character Vince Chase at a bar in the season’s fifth episode. Their affair might even spill into next year.
