Promos for the exciting new chapter in the HBO series have already warned us not to feed the shape shifters and foretold of the vampire Bill Compton’s looming disappearance. Clever new poster art also boasts the tag line for the season, BEwERE! What’s not to like there?
Sookie meets Alcide this season, a werewolf, and right when she’s at her saddest, missing her beloved Bill. This and more is revealed via the latest cast featurette. The clip allows pairs of cast members to interview each other and leaves fans with the promise that season 3 will be the best season yet! New relationships crop up every which way and season 3 brings us a slew of new actors such as Marshall Allman, Laura Pulver, Michael Steger, Alfre Woodward (who has acted with Anna Paquin before, when Paquin was just a child), and more!
Season 3 will premier this summer. True Blood is truly transcending the television screen as HBO recently announced the launch of complimentary webisodes, as well as a comic book from IDW Publishing.
